Re: Bio-Hygiene Cleaning Partnership
Dear Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits.:
This is an invitation to partnership with our effort to elevate the nation’s standard of cleaning in preparation for imminent H1N1 swine flu epidemic. A pioneer for Quality Health, Inc. is a NC nonprofit health advocacy group. Our mission is to advocate preventative health solutions. In that vein, we have planned and began an effort to provide continuing education for janitors with an online Bio-Hygienic Cleaning Course. Our goal is to improve indoor environments and avoid cross contamination during upcoming flue season. In conjunction with the online course, we will conduct sanitized cleaning demonstrations to reinforce idea of elevated cleaning and increase online course participation.
Custodial, maintenance staff and facility managers play critical roles in preserving healthy indoor environments. With effective cleaning equipment and an organized cleaning program that emphasizes the correct use of equipment as well as the importance of detection, extraction, and preservation of healthy indoor environment; exposure to particles, bio-pollutants, and volatile organic compounds in public buildings can be greatly reduced.
Using a bacteria/virus/detection method, our plan includes partnerships with janitorial services across the country that will demonstrate bio-hygienic cleaning at the local level. This will lend more voices to promote awareness of elevated cleaning standard. And, we wish to begin with Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits. Should you partnership with us; you will agree to Pioneers’ selected Janitorial Service to sanitize Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits’ bathrooms, dinning rooms, public access areas, common areas, and food prep cooking areas prior to Winter 2009 and what could be the onslaught of the H1N1 virus. The cost of $250.00 per restaurant represents the cost of cleaning product, use of equipment, and labor costs to Janitorial Service. Bio-hygienic cleaning is recommended for public eateries twice per year but is particularly needful during flu epidemic.
We are currently setting up online course and developing training and testing data. We hope to have prototype completed by July 31. In the meantime, we actively seek partners who will lend their voices to heightened hygiene awareness. Please join us.
Very truly yours,
G. F. Lawrence, Director
