Major Campaigns for Preventative Change
We advocate, the use of sterilized toothbrushes. Good Oral Health is the number one method of preventing internal disease. In 1999, Pioneers conducted germ tests on toothbrushes showing common use of toothbrushes leads to cross contamination. Test proved un-sterilized toothbrushes return harmful bacteria to the mouth. And H2O2 product successfully killed all harmful bacteria. (Rowan Hospital Report link)
Surgeon General Report
In 2000 the US Surgeon General published “Oral Health Report” of research that concluded the mouth is the portal for entry of harmful pathogens that cause disease in the body.
Pioneers tested oral health formula at the UNC School of dentistry 2001. Tests proved oral health formula killed harmful bacteria and fungi listed in Surgeon General Oral Health Report.
Pioneers advocated for the use of oral health product to sterilize heat sensitive dental material.
Pioneers lobby the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Oral Health Division to test H202 formula against harmful oral microbes and cross contamination of pathogens in dental settings and viability of using H202 product to clean heat sensitive dental material.
CDC issues letter of support and includes oral health formula in their guideline of recommended anti-bacteria anti-fungal sterilization of heat sensitive dental material, and dental instruments. CDC Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental health-Care Settings-2003,
Pioneers advocate for national hygiene awareness poster campaign and circulates good hygiene reminders brochures during rise in reported flu cases.
Present and Future Efforts:
We advocate: For adoption of an elevated bio hygienic cleaning standard for public buildings. Pioneers are developing an online Janitorial course that demonstrate plan to detect, eliminate, and test for presence of biohazards.
We advocate: For the construction and or designation of housing for battle fatigued veterans and their families near Veteran Administration Medical facilities.
We advocate: For the airing of television reality show featuring hygiene issues for upcoming N1H1 flu virus .
